The Financial Services Branch, part of the Division of Administration, has general financial oversight for the Department of State Hospitals. The Financial Services Branch completes the annual development of the Governor’s budget, biennial state hospital and headquarters program estimates, monitors and projects population trends and allocates program funds quarterly. Additional responsibilities include monitoring cost containment activities, developing annual county bed rates and Medicare billing. See links at the end of this page for annual bed rates.
