Office of Legislation

The Office of Legislation (OL) is the Department's liaison to the Legislature. OL's primary functions include analyzing the potential impact of bills that may affect the Department, advocating for the Department's position on Administration-sponsored legislation, preparing and submitting statutorily mandated reports to the Legislature, and facilitating all Department correspondence (including verbal and electronic) with legislators and their staff.
